Perinatal SBIRT Training

Description

Prepares providers to implement SBIRT in perinatal settings, with attention to the unique clinical and psychosocial considerations of pregnancy and postpartum care. Addresses substance use screening during pregnancy, maternal health risks, and strategies to reduce stigma and promote safe patient disclosure and engagement. Participants review validated screening tools, brief intervention techniques, and referral coordination within maternal-child health contexts.
